New Parking Lot Plan Now in Effect!2010 has been a dangerous year in our parking lot. A child was almost hit several weeks ago and there are several close calls each day with cars backing up, cutting in and out of line, or speeding in the parking lot. After hosting a Parking Lot Safety Talk at the February 11 PTA General Meeting, Prinicipal Fuglevand has approved a new procedure that began March 1 to help insure our children's safety . The new procedures are a reversal of what you know today; the buses will now pick up/drop off children directly in front of the school, and the "Kiss and Go Lane" will be moved to where the buses used to go. Please VIEW THE NEW PROCEDURES AND THE NEW PARKING LOT MAP in detail, and be prepared to help us with a smooth transition. Thank you in advance for making our school a safer place for our children! P.S. Have you read the latest PTA e-Bulletin? There's good stuff in there... |
