 From now until September 14, shopping at Safeway has never been smarter. With every purchase you make of participating items, 10% of the total will go to Forest View PTA! eScrip is a pain-free year-round program to earn money for Forest View, but during this special promo period we can earn eve n more! Here's how:
1. AT HOME:
Confirm on www.escrip.com that you have “Forest View” as your designated school. You just need your Safeway Club Card number to type into the website.
2. IN THE STORE:
Look for the yellow School Bus tag on over 2,000 participating products until September 14. (You can find a list of participating items on www.backtoschools.escrip.com/)
3. AT THE CHECKOUT:
Use your Safeway Club Card to buy participating items at checkout. Last year we earned over $1000 with escrip. Can we double that this year!? Thank you for your support!

MEET AND GREET YOUR TEACHER! Say hello to your child's teacher and future classmates, and drop off school supplies on Tuesday, August 7, from 3-4pm. SCHOOL IS ALMOST HERE... The first day of school is Wednesday Aug. 8. SWEET MEETING: Please join us Thursday Aug. 9 for our PTA Ice Cream Social 6:00-8:00pm. Child care for school age children will be provided! CARNIVAL TIME! Let's start the year off right! Join us for one of our most popular events the Back to School Carnival, Friday, Sept. 24. FOREIGN LANGUAGE CLASSES will be offered at Forest View next year! Pre-register now. Contact Foreign Language for Youth or call 360-779-5269. MAKE A SPLASH AT THE LIBRARY Beginning June 1st, kids may sign up for summer reading at the Mill Creek Library.

SAFETY WINS! Please review a Traffic Study that summarizes the success and challenges of the new bus lane/ kiss and go procedures. Thanks to all who follow the rules to increase safety for our children, and to keep traffic flowing for parents! BOXTOPS & LABELS: We raised over $600 in boxtops and 20,000 labels to buy needed supplies for our school! Please send the boxtops and labels you collected over the summer and submit them with your teacher's name on the bag. Keep your eyes out for bonus programs at your local grocery stores and turn in the certificates with your boxtops and labels.
